SFHS fencing club lettering requirements
The following basic criteria must be met in order to earn a SFHS
Fencing Club letter for Fencing:
1. Student must attend 80% of the club practices (unless approved by coach or sponsor.)

2. Student must participate in at least five tournaments per school year.
3. Dues must be paid in full for current season.
4. All fencers must exhibit good sportsmanship by:
a. Wearing appropriate attire to practices and tournaments
b. Respecting fellow fencers, fencing coach, staff, etc
c. Displaying team spirit
d. Helping other members of the team.
e. Maintaining dignity and appropriate behavior during practices and tournaments.
f. Maintaining good citizenship on and off campus.
g. Assisting with set-up and cleanup, before and after both tournaments and practices when possible.
5. Fencers must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
6. Fencers must obey all rules in the SFHS Fencing Club Code of Conduct.
*Missed practices: If a fencer has an excused absence o the day of a scheduled practice, he or she needs to notify the team parent as soon as possible so that the missed practice will not count against them.
